Active substance: Tylosin -200 mg

Indications

In the treatment of respiratory, genito-urinary and udder infections caused by the above-mentioned bacteria sensitive to tylosin in cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, poultry, dogs and cats; in the treatment of dysentery and enzootic pneumonia in pigs, leptospirosis in dogs and cats.

In dysentery and enzootic pneumonia in pigs. In metritis, mastitis, contagious agalactia, pleuropneumonia in sheep, goats. In leptospirosis in dogs and cats.

Contraindications

High doses should be divided, avoiding the administration of more than 10 ml in cattle, 5 ml in sheep, goats and pigs in a single place. Administration to turkeys and chickens is prohibited.

Do not use in birds whose eggs are intended for human consumption. Do not administer to chickens and turkeys. Do not mix with other injectable solutions because the solution may precipitate. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to tylosin, macrolide antibiotics or any of the excipients. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to tylosin, macrolide antibiotics or any of the excipients.

Dosage and administration

It is administered intramuscularly, daily, for 3 – 5 days, in the following doses:

Cattle: 2.5 – 5 ml product /100 kg g.c ( 5 – 10 mg s.a/kg g.c), (max. 10 ml product per injection site);

Calves: 1.5 – 2 ml product /50 kg g.c ( 6 – 8 mg s.a/kg g.c), (max. 5 ml product per injection site);

Pigs: 0.5 – 1 ml product /20 kg g.c ( 5 – 10 mg s.a/kg g.c), (max. 5 ml product per injection site);

Sheep, goats: 1 ml product /20 kg g.c (10 mg s.a/kg g.c);

Dogs, cats: 0.25 – 1 ml product /10 kg g.c ( 5 – 20 mg s.a/kg g.c);

Adult chickens: 0.05 – 0.2 ml product / kg g.c ( 10 – 40 mg s.a/kg g.c).

In special epidemiological situations, at the veterinarian’s indication, the product can be administered in the same doses at 12-hour intervals, for 3 – 5 days.

If the animals do not show an improvement in their health, the veterinarian will be consulted for a reassessment of the diagnosis.

Waiting period

Meat and organs: cattle, sheep, goats, pigs – 8 days; poultry – 5 days

Milk: cattle - 3 days, sheep, goats – 2 days.

Meat and milk obtained before the specified period is used or used for feeding non-productive animals, depending on the conclusions of a veterinarian.

Presentation form

The product is presented in glass bottles of 20 ml and 50 ml.
